“ A’udhubillah min asy-syaiton ar-rajim. Bismillah ar-rahman ar-rahim”, I begin reciting the noble Quran in front of me. Others in the same halaqoh with me were listening to my recitation carefully.
Alhamdulillah… Thanks to Allah for the opportunity to continue joining tadarrus al-Quran for this Ramadan. Hope He will also give me the strength to keep consistent with it.
Ramadan and the noble Quran can not be separated. Both of them have been mention in the Kalamullah, in the same verse.
"The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Quran was sent down as a (pure source of) guidance for mankind. In it is clear teaching showing the right way and the criterion (for judging truth and falsehood)"Al-Baqarah (2) : 185
Allahu Akbar… Allah has actually told us the exact month when He sent down His word of guidance to us. Tuan Guru Haji Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat had said that:
“There is no other month among 12 months in Islamic calendar that has been mention in the noble Quran accept for Ramadan. It is a big honour for Ramadan as its name was inserted in the Quran which has 6,236 verses. And the main focus of Ramadan in that verse is “which the Quran was sent down”. This means that other things during Ramadan (like Tarawih Prayer, the way of performing Witir Prayer) are in the second places. “ (free translate by ainuddin from Harakah)
Subhanallah… Even more important than Tarawih Prayer, Witir Prayer and other sunnah. And it is because “In it is clear teaching showing the right way and the criterion (for judging truth and falsehood)”.
Not only that, Allah also prepared an amazing incentive and reward to whomever that reading His Book. Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said that:
Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that "Alif, Laam , Meem" is a letter, rather I am saying that "Alif" is a letter, "laam" is a letter and "meem" is a letter. So increase your recitation of the Quran to gain these merits, and to gain the following merit as well.
At-Tarmidhi
Ya Allah…. It is a promotion from Allah. It just likes a mega sale. Buy 1 get 10 rewards. And it is not just a small reward, but it is a valuable one or even more! Great, right? Only person that are not interested at all will leave it. Person who do not have heart fot it, and who do not connected in any ways with it. Shamed on me if I did not take the chance, right?
Also, Prophet Muhammd s.a.w. once said:
"Verify the one who recites the Quran beautifully, smoothly and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angles. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verse, then he will have twice that reward"
Al-Bukhari and Muslim
Allah… The Most Gracious and the Most Merciful… It is definitely no lose situation for anybody who read the Quran and take the guidance from it.

"What will convey to you what the Day of Judgement is? Again! What will convey to you what the Day of Judgement is? It is the Day when a self will have no power to help any other self in any way. The command that Day will be Allah's alone"
Al-Infitar (82) : 17-19
Absolutely no person or anybody can help others when the Day of Judgment has come. No parent can help their children despite how much the parent loves them. The same goes with the children. Also for friends even the closest one. Everyone is on their own on that day.
However Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had said:
Abdullah ibn 'Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The fast and the Quran are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say : 'O Lord, I prevented him from his food and desires during the day. Let me be intercede for him.' The Quran will say: 'I prevented him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him'. And their intercession will be accepted"
Ahmad
Subhanallah…
How fascinated and great to know, right now, during thid noble month of Ramadan, we are able to prepare 'someone' to help us during that day. ‘Someone' that can stand by our side and become our spokesperson, pleading, begging, pleading and beseeching for us in front of the Almighty. Like a lawyer standing on our behalf, interceding for us during that Day.
So my friends, let us grab this chance that Allah has given to us during this noble month of Ramadan. With the Ramadan that remains, let us fill our Ramadan and beautify our fasting and read the Quran so this Ramadan wiil be our best Ramadan ever.
"ALLAH, on this day, take me closer towards Your pleasure, keep me away from Your anger and punishment, grant me the opportunity to recite Your verse (of the Quran), by Your mercy, O the most Merciful.
Allah, on this day, grant me wisdom and awareness, keep me away from foolishness and pretension, grant me a share in every blessing You send down, by Your generosity, O the most Generous
ALLAH, strengthen me in carrying out Your commands, let me taste the sweetness of Your remembrance, grant me, through Your graciousness, that I give thanks to You. Protect me, with Your protection and cover, O the most discerning of those who see
O ALLAH, on this day, make my fasts worthy of appreciation and acceptance, according to what pleases You, and pleases the Messenger, the branches being strengthened by the roots, for the sake of our leader, Muhammad, and his purified family. Praise be to ALLAH, the Lord of the worlds. Ameen... ameen... Ya Rabbal 'alameen..."
